The French & Belgian EBM communities are quite tight and tend to stick to the “roots” of the Electronic Body Music sound. Void Kampf does exactly that, and keep the “Body” in EBM as any fan that attended a live performance can attest to.  In January 2010, Void Kampf will release their powerful sound on the world with the album, “Severe Mais Juste”.

The album will contain 14 original tracks, 6 remixes. Guest re-mixers will include; Signal Aout 42, Darkmen, Steril, Autodafeh, & K-Bereit. Over an hour of music, this album is sure to hit the dance floors hard with their clean, well produced electronics and aggressive vocals and a Void Kampf attitude.

November 14, 2009

The U.K. legends of Electro-Punk/EBM are at it again. They are now finalizing their next full-length album of all new material. John Whybrew of PorCon has said, “this will be our most confident, muscular, and our best work to date!”. That alone is reason for any fan of the electronic music scene to get exited. These guys have been making superb quality music since the late 1970’s. With club chart toppers such as, “The Great Divide”, “Hardman” and the most recent, “Amnesia”.

porcon livePortion Control has always been a leader in the Electro world, having directly directly influenced (and name checked) by the likes of Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Frontline Assembly, Skinny Puppy, and Orbital to name a few.

The band has taken a brief pause from their live performance and touring so they can focus on completing the album, and working on other related visual projects. The album is scheduled to finished in the next few weeks and to be released worldwide by their label partner, Sigsaly Transmissions. We expect to see the album hit the streets in January 2010.

The band has also recently completed an overhaul of their website (portion-control.net). Improved navigation, content, and a new CD/MP3/Merch shop where you can get tons of music in high quality digital audio and CD. Check out the web site, and you may just find the free Mp3 “Harderman”.

New Autodafeh Album, “Identity Unkown”

November 13, 2009

Autodafeh "Identity Unkown"

The new album by Autodafeh “Identity Unknown” will be released by Sigsaly Transmissions in late February 2010.  The album includes contributions by Xian Austin (Hardwire), Claus Larsen (Leaether Strip), and remixes by Daniel Bressanutti (Front 242). The album will contain 12 original track and two additional remixes by Daniel B.
Since their debut album “Hunt For Glory” was release in the summer of 2008, this Swedish trio has found themselves pushed to the forefront of today’s electronic scene. They have been requested by and performing for fans from their home country (opening for Front 242), Italy, Belgium, France, Germany, and Poland to name a few.  This past summer the band released a pseudo-tribute to “old-school” electronic with the release of the EP, “re:lectro”. Once again, the band found themselves on top of the charts and highly requested on the dance floors.
So far, it appears 2010 will be even busier than the last. The new album is highly anticipated, and the band has many requests for live shows.
Check out these videos. Live in Poland, and a non-official video for a track from “Identity Unknown”.

The Belgian duo NTRSN have completed their new full-length album. The Album is now in the process of review and manufacturing, and a release date should be announced soon. It is expected to hit the streets by late December or Early January 2010.

The album, called “People Like Gods” is their debut album. It promised to deliver both old-school electronic sounds that only can be heard by utilizing 100% analog equipment. And yet, NTRSN delivers a sound that is still very current and modern. Also included on this release is support by Maurizo Fasolo (Pankow) and Peter Van Bogaert (Liquid-G).

It’s only been a few weeks since this EP was released and already “re:lectro” is selling faster than you can say “EBM!”.  The EP has been getting great reviews across the globe and tracks like, “Dark Sky”, and “Secret Ground” are highly requested on the dance floors.
